In Person Birth Services

My Package Includes:

• A pregnancy planning call (usually an hour) covering physical and emotional preparations for birth; class suggestions; access to videos; resources based on your questions or physical discomforts; and checklists for the most important postpartum items needed for baby, breastfeeding, and mother’s recovery.

• Three prenatal visits (these usually last 2 hours) which I usually break down into the following discussions:
1- Birth Preparation which includes discussion of your birth plan, your hopes and desires, understanding medical procedures, medications, and options for yourself and your baby.
2- Postpartum Preparation focused on caring for the mother’s body during healing and recovery immediately following the birth, newborn care, and home support planning.
3- Labor Rehearsal in your home, practicing relaxation and positions where you will likely spend most of your labor.

As questions arise throughout your pregnancy, I can provide suggestions and resources to help you stay healthy, avoid complications, or find alternatives where possible.

• Access to my library of videos for education, birth rehearsal, and body alignment for getting baby into the best position for birth. We can create a plan for what to watch in our first visit.

• Unlimited phone, text, and email support from the time you hire me through 2 weeks postpartum.

• On-call (24 hours) for the 2 weeks prior through 2 weeks after your due date.  Once you are in labor, I will come at your request and will provide continuous labor support at your home, birth center or hospital. If your labor begins at home but you are planning to birth at a birth center or hospital I will help you determine the best time to go.

• Two to three hours of postpartum support the day you get home or immediately following to support breastfeeding success and help you get settled back into your own space.  We will process and review your labor experience, and discuss postpartum healing, I can answer questions and provide info or referrals. If you would like to add on additional breastfeeding support sessions or newborn care support, I offer this at a discounted hourly rate of $75/hr (usually $90/hr) to my birth clients.
