In Person Birth Services
My Package Includes:
• A pregnancy planning call (usually an hour) covering physical and emotional preparations for birth; class suggestions that align with your parenting and birthing hopes; access to videos; resources based on your questions or physical discomforts; and my “essentials” checklists for the most important postpartum items needed for baby, breastfeeding, and mother’s recovery.
• Three in-person prenatal visits ( usually 2 hours each):
1- Birth Preparation which includes discussion of your birth plan, your hopes and desires, understanding medical procedures, medications, and options for yourself and your baby.
2- Postpartum Preparation focused on caring for the mother’s body during healing and recovery immediately following the birth, newborn care, and home support planning.
3- Labor Rehearsal in your home, practicing relaxation and positions where you will likely spend most of your labor.
• Access to my library of videos for education, birth rehearsal, breastfeeding, newborn care, and body alignment to get baby into the best position for birth. We can create a plan for what to watch in our first visit.
• Unlimited phone, text, and email support from the time you hire me through 2 weeks postpartum. As questions arise I can provide suggestions and resources to help you stay healthy, avoid complications, or find alternatives if desired.
• On-call for your birth (24 hours) for the 2 weeks prior through 2 weeks after your due date. Once you are in labor, I will come at your request and will provide continuous labor support. If your labor begins at home and you are planning to birth at a birth center or hospital I can help determine the best time to go.
• Two postpartum support sessions (usually 3 hours each) focused on breastfeeding, the mother’s health and rest, and newborn care questions. The first one is offered the day you get home or very soon after to support breastfeeding success and help you get settled back into your own space. The second is scheduled based on your need. If you would like to add on additional breastfeeding or newborn care support sessions, I offer this at a discounted hourly rate of $75/hr (usually $90/hr) to my birth clients.
